The annotation Scale in V5 in awesome, but is there a way to set up a dimension style to follow the annotation scale.  Currently dimensions don't obey the scale setting and I don't see a setting in dimensions style to do so.  I would be nice to have the ability to do both set your own scale for dimensions/leaders or follow the annotation scale.  It looks like the annotation scale was possibly intended to do just that at one time.

Hi Dennis-

Model space dimension scale is controlled in each dimension style.

There is no separate annotation scale control for dimensions. Set the scale in Dimension Style Document Properties.

So, scaling for individual dimension styles is set in the dimension style under 'Model space scale' Does that help at all?

Thanks.  I understand that.

Currently if I change the model annotation scale all the text elements change size, the I have to select each dimension and changes it's type to the new scale.  It would be nice if were linked together.

Also if I have a file that is a 1:96 and I linked it into a file that is 1:48 all the text element take on the new scale/size, but dimension don't, and so I have to create new dimensions at the correct scale type.  Having them tied together would fix this.

If it's going to stay the way it is I would take the word "dimensions and leaders" out of the check box description "Enables scaling of text, dimensions and leaders" as I think it misleading. You can have this box uncheck and dimensions still obey model scale they are set to.
