Attached is a RH5 file with a very simple developable surface. When I try to unroll it, instead of unrolling, it coils up into some weird spiral form.

Thanks, Pascal. I don't see SR1 posted anywhere, though. Can you provide a link?

Thanks,

-Phil

Hi Phil- it is not released yet but if you open Options > UPdates and Statistics page and set your auto-update to check for 'Service release candidates' it should then go out and find that, download it in the background and at some point when it's all done and you open or close Rhino it should offer to install it.

Hi Pascal,

'Still no joy I'm afraid. I installed the SR candidate and now have "Version 5 (5.1.30129.1756, 1/29/2013)." Attached is the original curve, along with the result of the Unroll.

Some additional info: The problem for RH5 appears to reside with the surface's pointy end. If I trim it off, the surface unrolls normally. Also, the original surface unrolls okay in RH4.
