Hi Wieland- you can fake this by applying a material with a hatch-like texture to the clipping plane, and then set the display mode to use the plane's material for the 'fill'.

Try the Section Tools plugin here... http://wiki.mcneel.com/labs/sectiontools it expands the clipping plane functionality including hatch display for fills.
