Delete Toolbar Button

I was playing around with adding some custom scripts as buttons to the "Standard" Toolbar, and now I would like to get rid of them, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to delete an individual button from a toolbar.

Easy enough to delete a toolbar, or move or edit a button... but even in the complex RUI workspace editor (which is itself difficult to find!) I can't figure out how to get rid of a button, unless I do a complete ToolbarReset. Am I missing something obvious?

If you hold down you shift key and then drag a button out into space and drop it.  This will delete the button.

press a button while holding shift or ctrl  opens up a whole new world for you
