In Rhino 5, I notice there are more sophisticated rendering features.

Is it possible to make an object, such as a windshield,  appear to be made out of Lucite, Plexiglass, or other nearly transparent plastics?

If so, how would I tell Rhino to do that, exactly?

Thank you for your insights.

Hi Michael,
What renderer you want to use?
If it's Rhino's default, you'll go in the material editor under the basic settings section and put around 85% of transparency.
To get special effects you can assign a bitmap for the transparency in the Textures section.

Many thanks Marc, 85% worked wonderfully.  Michael
