Hi Arthur- how are you placing the images? As textures in a material?

thanks,

I created images in illustrator and saved as a bmp and then imported into rhino using picture frame, and then background bitmap but picture frame left a blank grey image and background bitmap would not place any image at all.

However i was finally able to place the image when i saved it as a jpeg. Still curious why i wasn't able to import the bitmap version?

In addition i have been trying to download the trial version of rhino for mac but been having some issues. I have signed up and giving all required info but does not direct me to a file or download link. I have not recived any email confirmations either.

Hi Arthur- can you send me the bmp that does not work?

thanks,

sure

Hi Arthur- the bmp has a fully black alpha channel for some reason- that I suppose is causing the entire image to be masked when used as a picture frame or texture. If I remove this, it seems to work OK.
