Importing Point Cloud Data
I am trying to import laser-scanned data into rhino. I have a .ptg file and seem unable to access this format of data via rhino. What is the recommended workflow for importing point-cloud data into rhino?

Hi Parke- ptg is a new format to me- all I see that looks even remotely possible so far is references to ArtRage... whatever that is. What is in the file, can it be opened in a text editor? Can you post a simple example? If you can get your point data as text (txt) , or iges, or csv, or pts, cgo, xyz... we can read them into Rhino.

Thanks. It's a weird format to me also; nothing but gibberish when I open it in a text editor. I'll get our laser-surveyor to provide an alternative file format.
