When I leave wire frame and go to shaded view, I am unable to see the side of the surface that is closest to the view perspective. What is showing: the near side is wire frame and the far side (what should be hiden) is shaded.
I am using Rhino 5.0, TSplines, and have a NVIDA Quadro FX 1800 graphics card.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can fix this?
I have attached a picture of the problem.

Permalink Reply by PurrDaddy on December 27, 2012 at 8:09pm Update, I have just downloaded the latest NVIDA driver, the one that is approved for SolidWorks. It helped the appearance from one side but if I rotate the TSpline the under side shows inverted.
Permalink Reply by Pascal Golay on December 27, 2012 at 8:12pm Hi Peter- That would happen if the objects are closed but for some reason the normals are pointing inwardv- run Dir and see if that is the case. Explode/Join may sort it out- feel free to post or send me an example file for a look.

Permalink Reply by PurrDaddy on December 27, 2012 at 8:15pm I have determined that the problem is limited to TSplines. If I created a lofte surface I don't have this problem. If convert the lofted surface to a TSpline the problem returns.

I don't know the cause of the problem but I got it fixed. I had been using the evaluation copy of TSplines for Rhino, and had reached the limit of 25 saves. At some point around that time the shading problem started. I just got the activation code and the latest version 3.4 of TSplines. These two items corrected the problem.
Thanks Pascal for your help.
