If I move the perspective camera inside a closed polysurface, the backfaces are invisible, turning the object into a wireframe. If I extract one of the faces, or explode the polysurface, all faces become double-sided. Bug?
Hi Trygve - that it is by design- Rhino does not compute shading on the inside of closed objects- generally these will not be seen and would waste resources most of the time. I'll ask about treating objects that contain the camera as special cases.
Interesting. I was sure I had seen those faces sometime in an earlier version, but I guess that makes sense. I think it would be great to at least have the option to do as you say and show those faces if the camera is looking at them.
