I am running Rhino 4.0 on a computer using Windows 7 and have been doing so for the last year. I have the pointools plug-in for Rhino which I have been using to draw up a mill that I laser scanned last month. However, as of last week my sampled pointclouds (.pod files) are no longer showing up in Rhino. The bounding box is visible but no points are. Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?
Thanks

Permalink Reply by John Brock on February 25, 2013 at 11:26am Are point objects set to be displayed in the display mode you're using or are they suppressed?
Permalink Reply by Gemma Hudson on February 25, 2013 at 11:40am I have not set anything to suppress my point objects. I have clicked the "show pointclouds" tool. How do I check if my point objects are set to suppressed?

Permalink Reply by Gemma Hudson on February 25, 2013 at 11:53am Ah, I do not have the options for "show points" or "show pointclouds." Are you running rhino 4.0 or have you got 5.0? I only have 4.0, should I still have this option? I have been loading pointclouds as .pod files for over a year and it has only recently stopped working without me changing any settings.

Do all files do this or just his one?
I'm assuming they are not 'Hidden" or a long way from the coordinate origin?
