Hi, whenever I install an updated Beta of Rhino 5 64 bit, my popup toolbar goes back to the default one, and I have to import it from a saved version I have somewhere.
Is this normal?

During the Wip/Beta development phase we are making changes to the toolbar code and files. To make sure these changes are getting out, we are replacing the old toolbar files with each update. This is temporary. When we get closer to a release candidate, we will stop replacing them.
In the mean time, if you open your toolbar collection files (toolbar command), you'll also see 'default (old 1)', 'default (old 2)', and default (old 3)'. These are the toolbars from the prior WIP builds.

I see, So I should be able to import the Popup group from the previous Toolbar, i.e the one with the highest number?

Permalink Reply by Ufuk Bircan Özkan on February 15, 2012 at 1:58am By the way, may there be a section in support page of Rhino web site including default toolbars, templates, options etc. for users in order to prevent re-installing after messing up with the settings?
Permalink Reply by Ufuk Bircan Özkan on February 16, 2012 at 4:42am OK!! I looked at the path "C:\Program Files\Rhinoceros 5.0 WIP (64-bit)\Packages" and see *.rhi files there. They installed the missing files into proper locations. But I still wonder why the installer didn't do it.
