Rhino 5 Shell Options

It would be nice if the new "Shell" command in Rhino 5 gave the user the option to chose the shells direction (inner or outer).  Technically I know a shell is designed to be an inner - other wise it's a thicken operation; however, most other software lets the user go either direction.  Anyway, it's just a thought, and I would like to hear what the rest of you think.

That would be really smart. In fact, shell command is also a thicken progress made inwards from non-selected surfaces.

I think it would make a more robust tool/command if it went both directions, and I see no reason why it shouldn't.
