When I import multiple .obj meshes into Rhino 5 and view them in render them, the first one imported has the correct texture. Meshes imported subsequently are incorrectly textured using the texture information from the first mesh imported. This is independent of the order the meshes are imported.
The program creating the .obj meshes (PhotoScan) creates 3 files for each mesh. For example:
1.obj
1.mtl
1.jpg
2.obj
2.mtl
2.jpg
etc.
If 1.obj is imported first and then 2.obj, 1.obj has the correct texture but 2.obj appears to have the texture from 1.obj. Import 2.obj and then 1.obj and the opposite happens.
What do I need to do so that each mesh is properly textured?

thanks,

Permalink Reply by David Cockey on February 1, 2013 at 2:36pm The .obj files are all 100MB. I can try sending them, but first I'll create some smaller meshes and see if the problem still occurs. I just downloaded a new version today, 5.1.30129.1756, and it is still occuring.
Permalink Reply by David Cockey on February 1, 2013 at 2:58pm I created much smaller meshes and the same problem occurs. Also tried Rhino 4 SR9 and the same problem occurs. I sent an email with three sets of files.
