Rhino 5 Beta
I cannot save a toolbar image in my cutom toolbar layout. Edit bitmap brings it in it just won't save it after I close the box. Even drawing a picture.

Hi:
It's working for me here.

The default.rui file is in C:\Users\[your account name]\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\5.0\UI

This is a folder location you should have full rights to. Are you running as a restricted rights user? Do you have full access to that folder and the file in it?

Hi John and thanks for the response.

I am able to load my custom toolbar and save the toolbar layout to that folder which I have done and use my toolbar. I have checked the security settings and have full authority. Everything works fine, it's the images I cannot do anything about. Toolbars seem to be my biggest problem with Rhino for some years. About 2 to 3 times a year I will open Rhino and everything is gone. Command prompt toolbars, etc. So I re-load them. This one has me stumped. I do not know if this would have anything to to with it, but after installing Rhino 5 Beta on my computer I have another issue with pulling links up from my excel spreadsheet. In Rhino for the past couple of years I print an image to jpeg format and save it with notes for the information on the article. In excel I hyperlink the number to the jpeg in a folder on the company network. It saves no problem. If I click the link it says I have no access and I am restricted. This only happened after I installed Rhino 5. If I open it in open office I can pull up the link. Sorry if I'm coming at you from all over, but these are two issues that happened right after I installed it. I thank you again for any help you might be able to give me.
