When I select an alternate display mode, like pen or a custom one that I've set up myself, every so often it will display the following in the command line:
Command: PersistentOnMesh
The "PersistentOnMesh" point picking option is available only when picking points.
When this happens it fails to switch the display mode. Trying the command a second time usually works fine. What is causing this?

Command: _-MaterialEditor
Choose material editor option ( Visible=No ): _Visible=_Toggle
Choose material editor option ( Visible=Yes ): _Enter
Choose material editor option ( Visible=Yes ):

When you are changing display modes, are you in the middle of running a command or in the middle of a point-picking operation?
How can I repeat what you are seeing here - give me some finite steps, please.

I have never been able to successfully reproduce it on command, but have observed it sometimes as many as three times in the space of an hour. I will continue to observe and let you know if I notice any other patterns but at the moment I simply don't have the "finite steps" necessary to produce it.
