Proven rationalization tools for complex geometries in buildings and beyond

"We have experienced 'EvoluteTools' as the most advanced tools for the panelization of freeform surfaces and the downstream processing of meshes towards workshop design. We especially appreciate the possibilities of the planarization of quadrangular shaped elements and the vertex fitting functionality allowing us to incorporate multiple constraints" - René Ziegler, Head of Structural Design at Waagner Biro Stahl-Glas-Technik AG.

EvoluteTools Lite allows you to use any reference geometry and build upon it a panel layout according to your specific constraints within minutes. The more advanced features in EvoluteTools PRO bridge the gap between design and fabrication, as shown above in the rationalization of KREOD, designed by Pavilion Architecture.

The plugin EvoluteTools D.LOFT enables users to create developable surfaces between arbitrary 3d curves with a push of a button. It allows designers to use them in a straightforward way with a high degree of precision and control, helps reducing manufacturing costs and tooling.

The currently available beta version of EvoluteTools T.MAP provides mesh parametrization for Rhino. It helps to re-mesh using pure quad and triangle meshes, to map texture with minimum distortion, to design smooth curve networks on freeform surfaces, and to align with curves or principal curvature directions.

EvoluteTools provides direct access to patented technology based on state of the art research. This powerful technology enables architects and engineers to design, optimize, and build freeform shapes much easier, requiring no programming skills. EvoluteTools provides an intuitive interface to some of the most exciting research advances in architectural geometry.

The Plugin enables a “top-down” design approach, where the user has true freedom in creating a freeform shape under no physical production constraints and simply lets the Plugin do all the optimization for production and aesthetic purposes. Using EvoluteTools already in the early stages of design will not only enable new and fascinating construction-aware designs but save significant amounts of time and money.

EvoluteTools is available in Lite, Pro or Lab Kits (educational) versions. A trial version for EvoluteTools D.LOFT is available, and EvoluteTools T.MAP beta is a free download during the public beta phase.

The offered educational licenses for EvoluteTools include modules for panel fitting, flat panel clustering and EvoluteTools D.LOFT.
