Questions for Surface Generating (rhino beginner)

Hi guys,

I got a Polysurface made from mesh, when I try to Extrude the Surface, there are lots of little surfaces that I need to choose.

So generally, I just want One Simple Surface that bases on the shape of mesh.

Could someone tell me howto do that ?

Hi Matt,

I think that you are looking for the drape command. Chose a view from top, and draw a rectangle on top of the polysurface, drape creates a single surface using the information of what is it under the rectangle you draw.

seem to be can not do. actually we can use merge all face command. but as I saw. I can not apply this command for bending surface.
