Hey Allen...If you still have the .stl's and ,obj files.. you don't need a plugin ... Rhino will open and read both ..
Hello! How can we import a new font into Rhino6? I have a façade project that requires carved limestone letters, and the stone people need to see it.
All I have is a JPEG and TIFF right now, and I made the façade in Rhino6, but when I went to Rhino5 to place the image using my RhinoGold Artistics, it couldn't read my Rhino6 file! And I can't buy RhinoGold6 yet to let that work.
So I figured simply importing a new font would be the best route.
Thanks for any help!

Hi guys, I have a simple question I guess: is there any easy way to add profile to 3d polyline truss in Rhinoceros? I mean does the Rhino has something like Bevel Profile modifier like 3DS Max has it? Thnx for help.
I need advice. I have models that I built with Maya 8.5 and exported to 3ds for 3d printing. That was years ago and now I don't have 3ds anymore. I still have Maya 8.5 ma, obj and stl files. Is there a plug-in I can edit any of those files?
Buongiorno,
Come per applicare un raccordo Costante di 0,5 su Tutti i Bordi Di Una polisuperficie Abbastanza Complicata in maniera Rapida?
Ho Già Provato con _filletedge ma il risultato non è stato Quello sperato.

I am trying to find a way to grab the GE 3D surfaces and import them into Rhino. I am specifically talking about the rough trees and buildings it renders in 3D (not the uploaded building models from Sketchup) I have tried several methods noted in U tube but none seem to work. Anyone able to do this? If so, how?

Hi Ken, instead of saving a template you could modify the Grid Options in the Panels. Let's try this out in the Wireframe Mode first to understand the case. Go to 'Panels' > 'Display' to reveal the Display Panels and tick-off the 'Grid' Option. If you restart Rhino now the grid should be off. If 'Grid' as an option is not there, go to 'Wireframe Settings' at the bottom of the Panel Page. This will link you directly to Rhino's Display Options. Move to 'View' > Display Modes' > 'Wireframe' > 'Grid' and in the 'Grid Usage' change it to 'Use Mode Specific Settings'. This will now reveal the 'Grid' tick box in your Panel. Try all the above for the rest of your display modes (Shaded, X-Ray, etc.) Hope this helps...
Hello, Ken, you can open any preset file and change its settings however you like and save that blank file as a preset, there's an option for that on File>save as preset file, then on the rhino general settings, set that file as a default blank file for every time you open Rhino. That file should appear on the quick start screen when opening rhino.
Hope this , helps for you.
