Hello Ricardo!
Congratulations! :) You find the first bug I think.
Was you trying to create a plastic material? Did you set any value? I think the defaults are invalid.

Hello Rafael
I have tried both to create a new material that use the ones that you put in the group
and the error is the same, however, if I do not apply any material render function.
Other questito open if the materials that you put in the site, with an editor seem to me all the same
Hi Riccardo,
May you give me more details? Are you using a Mitsuba Rought Plastic Material?
About the materials, you will see are the same material type, but with different preset.
Thanks,
Rafael
the attachment can help you with?
Hi,
It will help more the 3DM file.
I was checking the aluminium file you send me, and it seems is not importing correctly the Material type. I will add to bug tracker.
Thanks,

Hi Rafael
thanks for providing the Rhino Mitsuba integration.
Are there future plans to integrate the Rhino sun system?
At the moment it seems the Mitsuba sun system is y-up, while the Rhino geometry is z-up.

Hi Gaudenz,
Thanks for the point. We will take care of it in the sprint. Inside TDM we are a little bit collapsed in our project, but I would like do it in the next weeks.
By other hand, you have all the source code available if you want to do it! :) If not, we will do in the sprint.
Thanks,

Hi there,
is Mitsuba still in development? I installed it some days ago and it works with only one flaw. Everytime I start mitsuba render, i get a crash message "value '0,05' does not match any member types of the union" So I have to edit the xml:
<float name="globalLookupRadius" value="0,05" />
<float name="causticLLookupRadius" value="0,0125" />
to
<float name="globalLookupRadius" value="0.05" />
<float name="causticLLookupRadius" value="0.0125" />
Save and it works :)
Maybe the flaw is caused by my rhino installation running the german localization?
Thanks!
