Error message when using ptgridsurfacedomain
Hi!
I am finding that I am receiving the following error message when using the command ptgridsurfacedomain on a surface that i created by revolving a curve (see attached image)
"Failed to divide. Less thank two divide points were found"
however using the command ptgridsurfacedomainexact works...
could you explain please?

Hi Annie,
This is a bug and a typo!
If you reverse the direction of the curve that you created the surface from, then it will work.
The problem is the surface is singular and the length of the base surface the command takes to divide is zero. I will fix it.ptGridSurfaceDomainExact simply uses surface domain and does not extract isocurves to divide like in ptGridSurfaceDomain.
