single stroke fonts in panel tools

When using the PTtagObjects command it places TTF (arial).  When exploded, this is difficult to mill because of the the double line produced.  MecSoft font is made as a single stroke font to be milled but you cannot change an existing font to a single stroke font.  Is there a way to change this font prior to tagging, or does anyone know of a way to achieve a single stroke font in change text properties?

Thanks for the reply.   It does help but only for when you create a textobject without paneltools and you check the box for "allow single stroke font."  If you change a font placed by panel tools you don't have the option.
