"Hi Gary, You might want to look at using the render tools to create png and jpg files. I use the Rhino rendering tools that come with V5 and enable rendering text"

Yes I do, I tried it, and it worked Okay. I was also able to save as a jpeg.

"Hello- STl does not carry any units information- it will take whatever units are current. To force inches, open an Inches template file, then Import the STL file.

"Hi Gary,
STL files have no units, so they just import with whatever the units are in your file. V5 has an option to set the units on STL import.
