Can Rhino V5 open STEP file?
It has constructed a sphere in Abaqus and saved it in CATIA as an STEP (*.stp, *step) format type. Command: _OpenFile "C:\Users\Knead\Downloads\kugelnachher.stp" successfully read. But, Oops!Command: '_SelAllNo objects added to selection. What is the reason? See More

"Hi Knead- the short answer is No... you cannot assign subobject materials in Rhino. The longer answer is- There is a test command that you can use to assign per face materials but it only can assign color, no textures- TestPerFaceMaterial.…"
