Hi Linwood, I love Rhino. I love it even more after looking at  Blender. The Rhino community is beyond belief. I have used applydisplacement and dig that. If I was a programmer I would understand why it is difficult to program a function where one could change a construction plane and slap a 2D graphic on that plane. 2D graphics have a tendency to "remember" the top view. I will look into your suggestion and tell you if I discover anything. Nice to meet you.

Dave
