"Hi Piotr -thanks, as far as I can see, this is a V5 problem- dots are printed as images to pdf rather than as text. No Adobe Acrobat reader is involved...

Maybe I shouldn't call it temporary.
It should, as you said, 'actively' adjust to the new shape. I believe it helps.

"Hi Piotr- how would you set the tracking lines? Are you looking to lock the points to the control polygon? If so, please try DragMode > ControlPolygon and see if that helps for what you are doing.

Don't set PointsOn to F1, F1=help is too much of an ingrained Windows convention. It's set to F10 by default. Deleting the help file isn't going to solve your problem, it'll likely either cause nothing to happen or pop up an…"

It also happens on my two machines so it is not an isolated issue.
Installer versions 08.22 and 08.30.
