it is a simple issue - the object you're trying to offsetsrf is mesh, not nurbs, thus this command can't work on it :) .
Try offsetmesh command instead :) ."

Hi all,First time poster here. I'm having problems running the offset surface command on an object I've created in a different program and imported into Rhino.
