ViewCaptureToFile does not export the view as it looks in the viewport after layer settings och named positions, it exports an older view. One have to change something (drawing something and then deleting for example) to update the view and thereby get the right look. See More

"Hi Simon- if you mean save as a sort of scheme that you can restore at will, no. But positions should be remembered between sessions- the last Rhino to close, if more than one is open, determines the layout when Rhino is restarted. I don't know…"
