"Hello- if you sub-object (Ctrl-Shift) select a surface edge, it will extrude to a separate surface, but selecting a face on a polysurface and Gumball-Extruding should maintain the single object. Not sure if that clarifies anything that you are…"

Gumball extrusion to solid
Hi,I just watched Modeling stereo headphones tutorial in which gumball and sub object selections were used to translate/extrude solid objects. When I try to extrude using gumball it only extrudes separate open surface. I couldn't find any setting to change this. Workspace editor didn't help either. Any ideas how to solve this problem?I am using evaluation version if that matters.Thanks in advance!See More
