"You say the image is 7.78MB but the image you posted (imagesCA1U1P7X.jpg) is only 8K. Are you sure you posted the correct image?
Anyway, the image you posted work in V5 using the BackgroundBitmap command (see below).

"What kind of bitmap that you use? Please check the file is CMYK or RGB, Rhino can't read CMYK file. "
