Hello everyone,
I'm modeling an electric guitar (neck) for CNC machining, and it's almost a closed polysurface, except for one single point that is still showing as a naked edge. I'd like to close this up, so that I can further experiment with Boolean functions. I'm attaching a photo of the naked point, and I'll hopefully be able to upload the actual file, as well. Thanks very much for all your help! TM…

Hello,
I have created a surface which is highly irregular (closed volumes, concave areas, tubes, etc.) in another software platform from geophysical data that I would like to bring into Rhino3D to display with other data and possible create a solid to calculate it's volume. The other software (Voxler2) can export nodes, which I've already been able to bring in as a point cloud, but it also generates a triangulation/connectivity of those nodes so that a surface is generated with…

Beaux Arts is a branch of Neoclassical and Greek Revival architectural design that was derived from Les Beaux-arts (fine arts) in Paris, France in 19th and the early 20th centuries. The style was short-lived as it was considered too much extravagant (Architect of the Capitol). Here I tried to describe some of the characteristics of the architectural design that is exhibited in some of the most famous buildings in America and across the world as…

Hello, Does rhino have a tool which allows me to rearrange 2d shapes for maximum spatial efficiency? I designed a series of irregular shapes, and need to get them laser cut, but to reduce the number of acrylic sheets I'll need to purchase, I want to fit the shapes as snugly together (without overlapping) as possible. (I'm using Rhino 5.3.1 for Mac)
If I've overlooked another post like this I apologize, I did search.
Thank you!

I have been using ArtCam to do jewelry design, but I switched to Rhino and I need help. Looking for someone who can get me back up and running. My pieces are really not fully 3D, just disc with raised symbols - not to complicated - with an engraving on the backs.
I can set up online sessions with GoToMeeting, so this can be done virtually. My business is starting to take off, so I need help ASAP. You can reply here or call me at (303) 588-8770.
Thank…

Hi everyone. I am thinking of picking up Rhino as a product / industrial designer and I'm wondering how difficult / long it will take for me to be professionally proficient at it if I am already quite proficient at Solidworks (including 3D sketches and surface modelling).

Hi everybody,
For my internship I need to render a new sock design so that manufacturer knows how the design should look like in 3d. The problem is, is that I don't know how to start out, and which commands work the best for modeling a foot/sock.
Any ideas?
It had been a few years since I had last ran Rhino. What a pleasant feeling it was to experience how a lot of my AutoCAD expertise transfers immediately to Rhino. It's amazing how once you know a program it's simply leads to loving it.
It is also inspiring to learn different CAD programs. Some feel like driving a Formula 1 race car, others like a BMW, and yet others like driving a Yugo, or something like that. There is a time and a place for each make and…

Help !!
My interest in Rhino 5 is to create one kind of thing: a saxophone mouthpiece, in many designs both internally and externally.
I need someone who KNOWS Rhino to teach me how to use the tools I need in Rhino to accomplish this.
Anyone between NYC and Albany, NY or thereabouts interested in the job?
I know I can do a credible job in Rhino if someone can get me pointed in the right direction. I'll make it worth your while and…
