Authorized Rhino 3D Trainer and winner in the White House's first-ever 3D Printed Ornament Design Challenge with 3D printed ornament added to the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History collections. Antar first learned Rhino while working at David Yurman and currently has 8 years of industry 3D modeling experience with top New York City based luxury goods brands including Alexis Bittar, Ippolita, Henry Dunay, Maiyet, NN by Nghi and Verragio. He has taught Rhino for over 6 years at the Fashion Institute of Technology and privately.

Works as a 3D artist and as an Instructor in New York City. He currently works as a 3D artist for David Webb and teaches 3D at the 92ndY. Jean also produced several courses on Digital Tutors and has worked with acclaimed sculptor Ted Lawson in several fabrication works. He also has experience working for several video game studios as a character modeler. Some of his notable companies include Alexis Bittar, Collette Malouf, and David Yurman.
This workshop will cover intermediate to advanced 3D modeling techniques using Rhino 5 and show you how to combine T-splines and ZBrush into your modeling pipeline. Students will learn various jewelry modeling techniques, industrial design tricks and advanced organic surface modeling secrets. Also, learn industry techniques on prepping CAD models to guarantee they are "water-tight" and ready for rapid prototyping. Understanding mesh tolerances and limitations will also be taught and rendering with KeyShot will be introduced.
