Upgrade for Rhino 3.0 with windows 7

I want to upgrade to Rhino 5.0 from 3.0 on my new machine. I am running Windows 7 from Boot Camp on a MAC. Can I install 3.0 on Windows 7 to do the upgrade to Rhino 5.0? How else would I do this.

Hi

When you install V5 using an upgrade key, it will ask for your V3 key code. There's a little bug that is easily worked around. When you enter your V3 key code, turn on the CAPS LOCK first. Then the installer will get the right characters.

And no, V3 will not install and run properly on anything newer than WinXP.
