"You were correct. I rotated the image 90 degrees in rhino so that it was drawn in 2d (I guess) and on the xy axis. Then I exported it to autocad. Success!"

"Hi Paul- please export some small part of the file to a new Rhino file, then export to DWG again from this file- please post or send me both files, and a capture of the settings used in the DWG output.

"Maybe the objects are in the wrong plane in AutoCAD? (i.e. you're seeing the curves edge-on...) How did you export them? Difficult to tell what's happening without seeing some real geometry, how about exporting just one…"
